Sounds excellent but please include some step-by-step detail on how to install Swift and whatever else is needed, what the prerequisites are. I tried to install Swift for Pico development and after jumping through links I finally found I needed Swiftly - But when I try to run './swiftly init' I got "Unsupported Linux platform".I’m currently preparing a more detailed post covering some of the project milestones and showing how Swift features like Concurrency, synchronization primitives, and SwiftPM plugins can be leveraged in embedded environments in surprisingly capable ways.
Swift looks nice to me. I can't promise I will use it, and not being able to install it is a bit of show stopper.
