How would you solve stable power delivery for a Raspberry Pi and a servo over 10 meters without modifying cables?
Source: Some 48V desktop power supply

Sink: Step down converter 48V->5V, for example

48V is the maximum voltage that is considered safe to touch and doesn't need special protection. This is the reason why PoE, ISDN and others uses this. Standard POTS is sligtly higher (up to 60V) but needs to travel a lot farther. The higher the voltage the lower the current and the lower the voltage drop.
