All I need do now is allocate some time. I don't want it to be as hectic as the initial install. I'll report back once the move is done. I was hoping to do it this weekend but my rpi500+ failed to reboot after an update. The rpi500++ is (of course) the one I need to use to facilitate this.
The plan is:
a) use an an ancient rpi with minicom attached to the new pihole rpi3b.
b) cobble together a script to backup the current pihole and restore to new pihole.
c) buy some bits.
I was busy doing (a) when the rpi500++ failed to reboot. Something to do with 'update-initramfs' (seemingly) not understanding /dev/mapper any more (rpi500+ uses LVM on its nvme). No idea why atm.
