Compute Module • Uart Pin8 and Pin10 loopback failed in CM5 io board

I tried to use Pin 8 and pin 10 to receive data fraom another microcontroller's uart pins, but failed.

Further tests on lookback in raspberry pi pin8 and pin 10 also failed. I tried all method I knew:
e.g.; raspi-config firmware config/cmdline

I will try TTL to USB nextweek after my order for TTL cable arrives.

Does anyone know why UART failed in CM5 io board? is there way to make uart pins work?
