I tried the default credentials Username: pi & Password: raspberry but that does not work either
There is no default user and password. There hasn't been for a number of years.
If you didn't set a user and password in Imager the first boot stuff will likely be sitting a prompt asking you to create one. If you don't have a monitor connected (and reading between the lines of your post you don't) you won't see this.
