I just bought a raspberry pi 5 board with 8gb of ram, and in order to fit it into one of my builds, I have to remove the Ethernet and usb connectors. I have good soldering experience and have resoldered usb-c connectors and other parts using hot air rework station. Do any of you think it would be possible to solder on usb-c parts (like a keyboard and trackpad) to the contacts on the board, or would it not be possible to even remove the connectors without bricking the board? Also, I have a different raspberry pi with a finicky display output, so I was also wondering it it would be possible to resolder another one on.
