Hi everyone,

I have been trying to put together a simple learning path for beginners who want to use Raspberry Pi for basic electronics projects, not only for Linux or programming.

A lot of new users seem to start with “I bought a Raspberry Pi, what should I connect to it?” but the jump from GPIO basics to real sensors and modules can be confusing.

This is the rough order I would suggest:

1. Learn the GPIO pinout and never assume all pins are 5V tolerant.
2. Start with a button and LED before using sensors.
3. Learn the difference between 3.3V and 5V modules.
4. Try I2C with a simple module such as an RTC or small display.
5. Use relays, motors and higher-current parts only after understanding external power supplies.
6. Always share a wiring diagram when asking for help.
