Thank you guys, I do appreciate your guidance!
Now to clarify, the user "pi" is needed for Pi5 to function or not?
Cause I mean if its not needed why really create it again? Will the problem not having pi as user with the exat properties only reveal them self after I reboot the system?
I did manage to create a temporary user from the OMV GUI and give it _ssh, adm, bin, root, sudo, users and then create a new CLI session and get access and set password for the root user. So I think its safe to say that accessing the Pi5 shutdown and start is leaning towards beeing safe, wont you agree?
So help me figure this out, is the user pi (or whatever name it might have got during the Raspberry Pi Imager) a mandatory one? If yes, then which are the default properties, permissions should I set for it? Is there any documentation regarding this user and what the default values might be?
As long as I don't know those thing I don't feel Im in the clear and cant restart the system, or am I? I just would like to eliminate any guesswork around the inevitable reboot.
