Adding a video mode to kernel command line should fix you issue. Have you tested that?I have a Kano Display on a Pi 3B and am getting EDID checksum invalid as shown by dmesg at around 4 sec boot time. Is there any chance that you could go back to your Pi 3 and paste your EDID results here? Or from your Pi 5 if possible?
