I have looked at the possibility of using an Alexa Echo to play music from my Raspberry PI 5
I tried to find the necessary skill for the Pi 5 but it only appears to be available for Pis up to the Pi 4.
Any advice?
I have looked at the Jellyfin skill for Alexa - must create your own (?) - too complex for me.
I also looked at the Emby skill for Alexa - needs the Emby Premiere at aboyt £50 a year.
In case it is similar, I have an Amazon Echo Dot.
I simply make a Bluetooth pairing between the Echo Dot speaker and RasPiOS Bookworm running on the RPi[5] and then select that as the output option using Righ Click on the speaker icon at the top right of the Desktop.
Then any audio I play on the RPi[5] comes out of the Echo Dot speaker.
