That's right. The Raspberry Pi creators cannot be responsible for supporting every random 3rd party OS. If you believe they should then you are living in a fantasy world. The officially supported OS is Raspberry Pi OS.

Do you know how many customers in the world run Kali on Pi HWs? lol.

Regardless, your problem is with another OS and you should be asking them for support.

The person saying we don't support Kali Linux appears to be speaking as a forum moderator rather than a Raspberry Pi employee.

At the same time, if it's not allowed to talk about other Pi distributions why is there an operating system distributions other subforum.

There is a Debian and an Ubuntu subfroum, not Kali, but it is based on Debian, so should be fine.

I see no issues with moving the thread to the other OS subfroum, even create a Kali one,

The fact that there is no Kali sub forum there already, tells me very few people around here have ever tried it on a Pi, even fewer if any currently running it.

Whatever the case, I believe there should be no expectation that anyone provide support for Kali for those reasons. Especially from the Pi staff/mods.
