Not all of us. But, yes, I might be a member of a diminishing breed in that respect.I think the real daily drivers are the smart phones that we all carry.
I will admit I do usually carry an Android phone, but only to show me the list of DVD's and CD's I own when I'm out shopping. None have active SIM cards and I'd call that an 'application engine', specific purpose.
Been doing that 'all my life', ever since I bought my first desktop back in the 1980's, and can't imagine not doing that.Other than those small screens, can anybody really find the time to sit down and use a laptop or even a desktop in his/her free time?
I can't see any benefit in having anything more portable. Perhaps that's because I more create than consume and need a real and full-size keyboard for that. I can't see any time being saved by having an alternative to a desktop.
I can understand where you are coming from but, if it's desktop for work, phone or tablet for home, that leads to the conclusion that almost no home users have any need for a Pi as a daily driver.Yes we all use computers at work, but when you say "daily driver", i think you don't mean those work machines.
The question should perhaps be can a Pi replace the work desktop which is the actual the daily driver ?
