That would be the best course. I believe there's an "rp2" tag which should ideally be selected. 'scruss' may be able to offer better advice, may even be extremely kind hearted and willing to raise the issue for us.should I raise the issue on the main MP GitHub and link back to here when I'm better or is there a specific RP2040 version?
It should be possible, will likely be slow, but it's a one-off - viewtopic.php?p=1972803#p1972803As an aside - any idea if it is possible to recompile the MP code base on a Pi Zero W (original) ? obviously I'm not fussed how long it takes but saves me buying a new Pi (and getting in more trouble with the good lady) Image may be NSFW.

The only spanner I can foresee is which GCC Arm Compiler you may have. It's likely to be a case of try it and see.
