Hi all
I've recently purchased a Raspberry Pi 5, and am new to all this.
I've set it all up with the Raspberry Pi OS, and I've fitted it into my old Amiga A600 - I took the original motherboard out first and fitted the RPI 5 with stand off screws etc. I bought a gadget from ebay to get the keyboard to work (built around a Raspberry I Pico) and that works perfectly - quite chuffed with that!
I naturally want to run an Amiga emulator. I tried the PiMiga, but sort of gave up as I didn't really know what I was doing, and thought Id try Amiberry. Seems ideal as I don't have to solely boot from a different sd card to run it.
I went to the Pi Apps website, and it says all you have to do is install Pi Apps, then go into the games section and click Amiberry and it will be installed and that's all you have to do. This sounded ideal to me so that's what I've done...
Now it would be brilliant if anything happened at all when I try to run Amiberry!
If I try running it from the terminal by typing /opt/amiberry/amiberry, I get the error "error while loading shared libraries: libFLAC.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
There's other things that I can't seem to do too, like when I run the Raspberry Pi Imager it says there is an update and do I want to update it. When I try to update it to 1.9.6, it just tells me that 1.9.4 is installed and that's the latest version..
Could anyone help this newbie try to get Amiberry working? Any help greatly appreciated!
Cheers, Jon
