I use a USB sound adapter for my Pi5 connected to these:Get better speakers. I can't imagine how you'd want louder than these Creative T40's I have however the original model I have is better Image may be NSFW.

I used to use the T40's, then changed to using active Tannoy near-field studio monitors (very loud 100w amp inside each speaker):

then changed to these AudioEngine A5's which are more reasonably sized (27 x 18 cm) and sound great.
