You can use a 'generic' implementation of VNC, or the RealVNC product, *within* your own LAN free of charge. For any number of devices.all my Pi's are headless, within my own LAN and I need to connect from a W10 PC and via an Android phone.
If you want a simple, transparent way of accessing those same devices when you are 'out and about' then you need someone to help you bridge the gap between the Global Internet and your local LAN.
That's the service that RealVNC have hitherto provided free of charge for non-commercial users. They have called this their Home service. But perhaps that's a misnomer? In fact you don't need their help to use devices At Home. Their service comes into play when you are NOT actually At Home.
As far as I know, the free RealVNC option with the Pi is for 3 devices. For me it is more of a 'nice to have' feature to be able to use RealVNC when out and about from an Android phone.
Could you please advise how it is possible to use RealVNC on any number of devices, within my own LAN and accessible from a Windows 10 PC.
