You can always save data to an external USB storage volume.

I'm actually asking this question because I'm having issues mounting a USB stick.

Each time I attempt it, I get errors saying it's not mounted. I'm lead to believe this is because it's not a real filesystem, being ro.

Care to link me to some info that could help me out?
