Troubleshooting • Raspberry Pi4 Model B: Not connecting to WiFi network

I cannot find a similar problem to the one I have on this forum regarding the onboard WiFi for the Pi4.

I have run into an issue with a new Raspberry Pi 4 where it just does not want to connect to any WiFi network. This is after I flashed the latest Raspberry OS (32bit Bookworm) to an SD card as well as (32bit Bullseye). Both OS's were the full version with desktop and other software (2gig) download.

What I found strange is that it does not seem to be hardware related. Using an existing installation from another Pi4 of Bullseye on the same new Pi 4 allows the unit to connect to any WiFi network.

I have flashed the os's using preset settings as well as without it and still have no luck connecting the unit to a WiFi network.

When it tries to connect it comes up with an Authentication required error. I have checked the router setup already and nothing changed there at all. My regional settings are the same as on all my other units I am using that works fine.

Any ideas how I can rectify this as all seems to point to this being a software related issue?
