Written from the perspective of someone who has never setup and run a repair depot service, I suspect. Given the cost of setting up the service and handling logistics versus the cost of the board, treating them as sadly disposable and offering in warranty replacement makes much more sense.Doesn’t Raspberry Pi (the company), have a repair facility? If not it’s a shame that a company, whose success has been partly made through the support of the hobbyist community, does not offer such a service?
