Hi, I've run the benchmark against the OrangePi RV2 RISC V SBC. Posting this from surprisingly smooth Chromium on UBuntu running on the device. Not too far behind Pi4B now.
Thanks for posting. I'll add it to the pirate chart. I find it very interesting how RISC-V is doing.
The Pi chart linked earlier on this page and others is now updated. Please clear your browser cache if the OrangePi RV2 doesn't appear in the listing.

Upon looking at the results, the three black kittens became surprised how an 8-core Risc-V processor manufactured on a 22nm process node could be slower than a 2-core Athlon II manufactured in 2010 on a 45nm node. The manufacturer advertises

While the clock speed is two-thirds that of the Athlon, there are four times greater number of cores. Likely the Athlon cost more than $30, but I can't remember the original price and salvaged systems with similar specifications are essentially free at the recycling center.

There was some discussion about a race to the bottom; however, that stopped when I pointed out that one dog used to write more code. Subsequent meowing focused on what kind of fish to order for lunch.
