Beginners • Chip steppings

Hi, I recently bought a raspberry pi 5 8gb ram so idk if the chip will have C or D stepping, I attached an active cooler and even when unscrewed it still sticks cuz of the thermal pads. Does anyone know how I could maybe find out the stepping?

Edit: I ran "lscpu" and my stepper says r4p1 what does this mean?
