Thank you for replying ghp,
unfortunately I don't understand most of what you have sent, I tried to read the link but couldn't see anything that answered my query.
I opened a terminal and went to the directory, or at least tried to, one of the .py's (demo.py) is in /media/bob/4/sys vol/unihat/examples,
In the terminal I did cd /media and it went to /media so now on the terminal I had
bob@raspberrypi:/media S
I did cd /bob and it said no such directory?
I did dir and it showed
bob
(there is just the directory bob in the directory media)
So I went back to explorer and tried to copy and paste the demo.py to the /media directory it brought up a large box that basically said
file operation was completed with errors
and
error opening the file /media/demo.py
the file is not yet in the directory /media so it won't open it but I couldn't get passed this.
I am trying to contact pimoroni but they insist on sending a code before I can register and they don't send a code.
Am I wrong in assuming I can download the zip file from github, open and extract the files to a usb stick, plug the stick into the Pi and get it to read the files because the file opens in geary when I click on it on the Pi and I can then read the program in geary but it fails to run in geary and I can't get terminal to see it?
