Hi,
I have a Pi 3b that I bought in 2016 and decided to get a new 32Gb microSD for it and run a newer OS. I did this using the Raspberry Pi Imager, which recommended the latest 64bit OS. However the performance is actually quite a lot worse, opening (for example) a browser or any sort of application (like one of the programming IDEs) takes ages.
Does anyone have any recommendations one how to fix this? Does the latest OS just not play well with the older hardware? I could try 32bit, I just went with the 64bit option that was recommended by the Pi Imager program.
Thanks
