I'm looking for the true headless experience where it uses the wifi settings I specify in the imager and connect over SSH on first boot.
Update:
RPi-Imager v1.9.5 for Windows was released yesterday, 11th July 2025.
It appears to have fixed the wireless configuration problem you experienced and should now meet your expectations.
