Not sure but running VS Code on a Pi5 Bookworm 64-bit, command MicroPico: Help > Getting Started worked OK - it opened a separate Chromium window to https://github.com/paulober/MicroPico/b ... /README.md
Half of my trouble seems to be due to the user hostile interface that is VS Code, but hey-ho
e.g. CTRL+Shift+P to get a command prompt
and running the command "MicroPico: Help > list serial ports" the first time showed /dev/ttyACM0 in a small pop-up window lower right, but running it again shows nothing anywhere...
