I recently had the problem that I did not get my Pizero 2 w into the WLAN after an installation via Rasberry Imager (32bit/64bit) lite os. I've tried a lot of different things and here's the right solution,

1. Download the updated Raspberry Pi Imager v1.9.5 from github https://github.com/raspberrypi/rpi-imager/releases/tag/v1.9.5

2. Install your image.

The 1.9.4 Windows version had a bug which messed up wifi setup. As I write, 1.9.5 isn't yet available from the downloads page, so that's why you have to get it from Raspberry Pi's github page.
It should be available on the downloads page soon.
