I apologize for my ignorance, but I want to ask one more question, which is very likely related to my previous questions. I want to copy an SD card image using Rpi Imager, the SD card has already been used as bootable. If I plug it into the Rpi using the reader, the card does not connect as a USB drive, and thus Rpi Imager does not see it. It is also not visible in the blkid dump. Yet in windows the card connects (windows reports the need for formatting). The lsblk command apparently sees the SD card as sda1 and sda2:
.......
loop12 7:12 0 18,9M 1 loop /snap/make-launcher/4
loop13 7:13 0 11,7M 1 loop /snap/snap-store/963
sda 8:0 1 59.4G 0 disk
|-sda1 8:1 1 512M 0 part
`-sda2 8:2 1 58.9G 0 part
mmcblk0 179:0 0 59.5G 0 disk
|-mmcblk0p1 179:1 0 512M 0 part /boot/firmware
`-mmcblk0p2 179:2 0 58.9G 0 part /
Query: How can I connect (format) an SD card connected via USB reader?
Thank you very much for your patience ...
