Gets even stranger.
I got a new 32Gb Micro SD card and did a clean install on the same 64Bit OS using the Raspberry Pi Etcher tool
I set up same login as before, configured it to my wireless network and tried the same HDD
Same An Operation Is Already Pending message.
So I assume something still on that HDD is causing issue with this OS?
I then tried a Windows 11 OS I have, it can see the HDD drive okay
I then tried a Ubuntu for PI disk and when I tried to open it from the File Manager there, it did flash up an error message which I didnt read in time, but then opened the drive up in the manager, and I can see the files fine.
I'm now going to shutdown again and try from the original Raspberry OS SD card
