Nice, I'd like to use this. I build from source, but I chose branch 1.26. Is this okay, or should I use the HEAD ?GStreamer support is in the works.
The native image format that the decoder produces wasn't handled by GStreamer, so it's been a bit more involved.
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/6by9/gst ... type=heads should become a merge request in the next week or so. v4l2slh265dec, videoconvert, and kmssink are pretty much all there, but I do need to address waylandsink as well.
Support is unlikely to get backported to 1.22 in Bookworm, but is likely to get merged into Trixie.
What else should I remember when building this on the pi? I did get a build built, but I get an error that seems to be like the one you mention above. Perhaps suggesting that I should use the HEAD?
What would be a pipeline to pull out just one frame from /dev/video0 at 3840x2160? I should be able to figure out the rest from that.
