Does the display have an edid? (boot with display connected but no sdcard, and report the "display:" line on the diagnostic display).I am trying to get a WIMAXIT 1024x600 HDMA display to work with a RPi4 running Bookworm. It worked well using the manufacturer's -now outdated - instructions so I have converted the hdmi_timings to a modeline in the wayfire.ini file as below:
If it does (and it really should) then it should just work. I suspect it doesn't, and if so it is possible to create a custom edid file for it
(but that is not quite a trivial operation).
